The Classic North, 15-day Self-Drive tour, integrates a rich diversity of both landscapes and game-viewing. The tour kick starts from Windhoek, through the Kalahari Desert to the Sossusvlei “sea of sand”, to the coastal town of Swakopmund, the rocky landscapes of Damaraland, the arid savannah and scrub of Etosha National Park, the Waterberg Region and then finally back to Windhoek. This tour focuses more on the northern part of the country.
The Classic South, 15-day Self-Drive tour, is similar them as the Classic north tour, but for those who are more interested in landscapes. This tour is focused more on the arid, dry parts of the country such as the Kalahari Desert, Fish river canyon, Sossusvlei Tour as well as the cold Atlantic coastal towns of Lüderitz and Swakopmund.
Designed for travellers with a strict budget and not a great deal of travel time but who still want to experience the most of what Namibia has to offer, this tour will take you to seven fascinating destinations within the country. The 10-day self-drive tour itinerary, although short, still manages to offer a decent diversity of Namibia's major tourist attractions and destinations. The Nam-Bots Round, 20-day Self-Drive tour, is a circular route starting and ending in Windhoek, and is a combination of the focal highlights of Botswana, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and central and northern Namibia. The tour allows you to travel through three countries, but at the same time picking-up and dropping-off the vehicle in the same location. With a combination of vast variety of landscapes, a wide variety of wildlife, birding and cultures, this tour has a lot to offer.
